At BlogSaving, we understand that finding a coupon is only useful when shoppers can understand its terms and have a reasonable expectation that the offer is valid.
That’s why we work to keep our coupon information as accurate and useful as possible.
Our Verification Process
Depending on the source and type of offer, our review process may include:
1. Reviewing the Offer
We review the coupon code or promotion to identify the discount, applicable products or categories, minimum purchase requirements, customer restrictions, and other important conditions.
2. Checking the Source
Where possible, we use information from retailers, affiliate programs, merchant promotions, or submitted offers to determine whether a promotion is legitimate.
3. Testing Offers
Where technically and practically possible, we test coupon codes on the retailer’s website.
A successful test does not guarantee that a coupon will remain valid because retailers can change or deactivate promotions without notice.
4. Recording Important Conditions
We try to provide useful information such as:
- Discount amount
- Minimum order requirements
- New-customer restrictions
- Eligible products
- Expiration information
- Other important limitations
5. Removing Expired or Invalid Offers
When we become aware that an offer has expired or is no longer valid, we aim to update or remove it.
Retailer promotions can change quickly, so we cannot guarantee that every coupon will work at every moment.
What “Verified” Means
A “Verified” label means that the offer has been reviewed according to our available verification process.
It does not mean that the retailer guarantees the offer indefinitely.
Retailers have the ability to change, restrict, or deactivate promotions at any time.
